  • The relevance of the analysis contributed to fast development of social entrepreneurship. However, there is still no common unambiguous understanding of social entrepreneurship among both researchers and practicians.
We carry out the analysis of existing approaches to social entrepreneurship, determine the criteria and offer our own way to systemize the approaches in question. The most important points of developing social entrepreneurship in our country are distinguished, among which we list the following: transformation of a social entrepreneurship object (recipient) into a subject of social business; the place of small and medium-sized business in the development of social entrepreneurship; the priority position of service sphere as the main niche for social entrepreneurs; creating a quasi-market in the sphere in question; flexibility and adaptability of social enterprises. We analyze the modern state of legislation in regulating social entrepreneurship.
