  • We consider theoretical basis of benchmarking as a relevant approach to managing tourist clusters under modern conditions taking into consideration domestic and international practice of developing tourist destinations on the basis of cluster principles. Special attention is paid to forming benchmarking indicators as applied to managing cluster elements as one of the most relevant directions. Benchmarking contributes to creating wider opportunities for developing clusters in recreation and tourism taking into account market customization and characteristic features of impression economy.
