  • In the Kyrgyz Republic, a transition to “green economy” has recently been initiated. Currently the country is facing the task to develop and implement the policy of “green economy” in various industries.
    The priorities of green economy, ecological requirements and measures aimed at increasing energy efficiency should be integrated into global development plans targeted at solving social and economic problems. Otherwise, we will see ongoing waste of fuel and energy resources as well as lack of compliance with the environmental legislation.
    We describe the key strategic documents passed for the sake of developing “green economy” in the Kyrgyz Republic. We also analyze the main indicators and trends of implementing the principles of “green economy” in various industries of the fuel and energy sector of the Kyrgyz Republic, which serves the basis for making conclusions and offering guidelines for each direction.
