  • The article examines a range of problems dealing with the development of legal education in the Russian Empire. Statistical data analysis has been conducted with regard to the number of students mastering jurisprudence in comparison with other lines of higher educations. Matters dealing with training for lawyers in classical universities and in special educational institutions established for educating military and civil personnel are examined.
