  • The relevance of the analysis of ecological security in haulage enterprises is based on global political, economic and man caused processes in the Russian Federation and throughout the world as well as on the dynamics of the road transport development in the country. There is no doubt that environmental pollution badly affects the quality of people's life and presents health hazard. It follows that ecological security management related matters need to be discussed at a governmental level since social and economical life of Russian citizens is directly dependent upon.
    The article defines and structures the most essential problems of ecological security management in haulage companies. The authors provides brief description of the most relevant legal documents and presents analysis of the relationship whereof with ecological security of the haulage enterprises. In addition the article presents way of reducing the emission of pollutants by the fleet of vehicles.
