  • At the moment post still plays an important role in people’s lives. Post offices available for everyone can be found even in the most distant regions of the country. People come here for a considerable part of the most necessary services. The strategic task of a national postal operator is to improve the quality of service in post offices as well as expand the range of operations. It means that the company will continue the reconstruction of its offices all over the country, develop the culture of service to make sure the customers feel more comfortable at a post office. Meanwhile taking into consideration the advantages that a national postal operator enjoys, such as a developed regional network, the post is trying to make a wide range of the most popular services including financial ones available for all the population.
In connection with this there is an acute problem of establishing Post bank and synchronizing postal and banking activities. For a more effective realization of this ambitious task it is essential to research the best international practice in particular post-savings systems of the countries of Western Europe. We offer the analysis of current trends and development prospects of post markets in Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Germany and Russia.
