  • The analysis of current terms and conditions of implementing innovation processes in the area of information technologies revealed the basic problem of their effectiveness: forming-up the most efficient logic of processes. The articles shows that the development or selection of a particular model of the information system life cycle results in ensuring the most efficient use of the resources, correct application of innovative technologies and programming tools as well as enhancement of innovation capacity by an agent of innovative informatization process.
    The author has discovered that the present models have been notable for excessive or insufficient level of projects phases’ formalization, for the deficit of the use of complex approach to allow exercising control over design activities at the enterprise as well as for insufficient focusing upon innovative processes in modern economy and supportive structure of innovation. Thereupon the author has proposed modification of the spiral model based on the analysis of innovative specifics at information and consulting services enterprises with their innovative environment included as a part of the global innovative process enabling to identify the structure of the innovative capacity at any point of the project, to establish the identity of the type of an innovative product to promote a better marketing positioning of the company and to keep the efficiency of the final innovative product up.
