BASIC TENDENCIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE MODERN ECONOMY

  • The article studies typical features and tendencies of the regional infrastructure development as a subsystem being independent in every way including its institutional status, organization and information respects and as the basis for the formation of innovative economics which is considered to be a topical issue of the strategy of regional economic development in Russia.
    The article substantiates criteria of differentiation between types of regional infrastructure: the level of integration into the global economic space, the type of habitation (urban and rural infrastructure), production sphere, type of goods market and economy segment (with such critical as securities, defence-industrial, energy, market and other kinds of infrastructure being defined), the type of capital being in use (social, organizational, information, ecology infrastructure).
    In the course of the study the author has used such methods as comparative analysis, classification, synthesis and grouping as well as the systems approach towards the study of tendencies in the development of regional Infrastructure in modern economics.
