  • The research is dedicated to discussing the problems of improving the educational process at institutions of higher education via reviewing the balance of disciplines due to the introduction of the new educatuional standards. Current methods of making a curriculum donot always allow to objectively consider mutual influence and succession of various disciplines belonging to different units. We describe ways to formalize the selection of them applying fuzzy logic approaches. For that we determine the key indicators and methods to define the importance of balance of various disciplines on basis of expert judgements and design a computer program applying fuzzy logic approaches.
