  • The relevance of the research is determined by the need to pay special attention to the protection of intellectual property objects under the new structure of the world economy. Imperfections in the legal base concerning the protection of intellectual property result in the increase in trading counterfeited products.
We look at the customs control procedure carried out by the Customs bodies that take measures to protect the rights of right holders within their competence.
The work concerning the prevention of import and circulation of counterfeited goods in the domestic market is among the priorities of the Customs bodies of the Customs Union. We suggest ways to solve the problem in question to increase the efficiency of the customs control of goods containing intellectual property objects.
