  • The competition in modern hospitality industry is rather fierce. There are new circumstances resulting from the crisis that require measures to improve competitiveness. An important aspect of strengthening competitive position is the improvement of training of the personnel that will work under new complicated conditions.
    To assess the quality of training process we apply a correlation-regression model and make relevant calculations. Besides testing the residual knowledge we use the employer’s reference as one of the assessment criteria.
    The research reveals the need for the hotel personnel directly working with customers to have trainings; the training methods are developed and suggested. So, the article demonstrates a considerable research work carried out on the basis of practical data.
