  • The relevance of the article subject area responds to ongoing criminal proceedings reforms, as well as to the pursuit of inventing the most efficient and rational model to be used for creating investigative units and completion of judicial reform, it is caused by the need for the development of public policies aimed at combating crime and implementing measures of protection of rights and legal interests of a victim and timely compensation of the damage caused to him.
    The article focuses on two among the other ways of reforming investigative activities: harmonization and globalization. The authors have considered the meaning of the given concepts and analyzed possible changes in the current legislation in force in the context of existing historical forms of investigation.
