CERTAIN METHODS OF ASSESSING COMPETITIVENESS OF REGION

We consider methods of assessing competitiveness of a region carried out while taking into consideration structure and development dynamics of inter-regional markets. We introduce generalizing indicators of region’s competitiveness as well as methods of selecting particular assessment indicators. The possibilities to use the assessment results for making a regional development strategy are described. Methodical characteristics of the assessment in question are determined.
