We analyze the current state of domestic metallurgy development; the need to implement innovation programs at metallurgical enterprises is proved. We introduce a conceptually new approach to analyzing the prospects of innovation projects realization within the entire technological process of metallurgical production that substantiates the use of intelligent methods for the analysis of innovation potential of enterprises and environment.
