  • The relevance of the research is based on the need of the modern business to apply individual strategies of supply chain management taking into consideration market and business parameters to be successful under current highly competitive conditions. The development of the models in question is especially relevant for small business involved in multi-channel trade as this segment is considered to be the government priority.
    We analyze specific features of the target segment and their influence on supply chain management. We also research the applicability of various models of supply chains and single components of logistics for Russian small business taking into account the features in question.
    On the basis of the analysis we distinguish preferable for the target segment elements and models of supply chain management; an algorithm of selecting the models for a specific business to be applied in practice by managers is introduced.
