  • We consider changes in the judicial system of the Russian Federation from 2000 to 2018-2019. The stage in question is characterized by the updating of the procedural legislation, passing the new Code of Criminal Procedure (2001) as well as the new Code of Civil Procedure and the Arbitration Procedure Code (2002). Secondly, unprecedented in Soviet and Russian legislation administrative legal proceedings were established and legislated in the Code of Administrative Court Procedure of the Russian Federation in 2015. In the first part of the article, we analyze the changes in all kinds of process made during the period in question.
