On Legal Implementation of Compulsory Vaccination Against Coronavirus Infection in Russia in the Context of Right to Health Protection

  • The article deals with the potential legal implementation of compulsory vaccination against new coronavirus infection Covid-19 in modern Russia. A symbolic event gave a unique impulse to the author to address this issue when on February 3, 2022, the Federal Council of Austria voted on mandatory vaccination coverage for persons over 18 years of age.
    As a result of the comprehensive analysis of universal and regional human rights rules, constitutional norms ensuring the protection of human and civil rights, in the light of current federal legislation given the imperative nature of ensuring public safety the author presents specific recommendations aimed at legislative implementation of compulsory vaccination in the Russian Federation.
