We assess the current state of information provision of forensic ballistic expert examination and suggest measures to improve it based on the analysis of the organization of forensic activities, the availability of reference books and academic materials to forensic experts, the use of modern criminal investigation equipment and software as well as issues of professional training of forensic experts for working with information resources. |
