On Perspectives of Prospectors Activities Carried out by Natural Persons

The article deals with the challenge of reviving gold and other precious metals mining by individuals. Currently, the legislation allows such activity only to legal entities holding a license. However, significant amounts of gold in Russia continue to be mined illegally by individuals. The underground gold turnover in the Far East has reached enormous proportions. A draft law has been thus developed to legalize the activities of miners and decriminalize the gold mining industry. This will allow in the coming years to create thousands of jobs for the local population and significantly increase gold production.
