We look at project approach as one of the relevant approaches to project activities organization in the tourism industry. It is presented as a tool of organizational and managerial activity of the tourism industry subjects. We distinguish the advantages of project management in comparison with the traditional method of management in the tourism sector, the stages of project activity, the role of projects in the tourism industry in connection with the goals and objectives set in the Strategy of Tourism Development in the Russian Federation for the period to 2035. Possibilities of applying project management by state, regional and municipal authorities as well as the business sector are considered. |
