METHODS OF OVERCOMING ADVERSE INFLUENCE OF ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL RESTRICTIONS ON SOCIAL AND ECONOMICAL DEVELOPMENT OF RUSSIA

  • The article deals with examining an impact of political and economic sanctions on Russian foreign trade. While covering the declared topic the author notes the importance of cooperation between Russia and European Union. Based on the data of actual statistics the author reveals a tendency that leads to decreasing trade turnover as a result of the sanctions imposed.
    In addition to revealed direct impact on the economy the author notes existence of indirect influence dealing with changing raw material prices as well as the prices for equipment and OEM components. The author analyses appropriate measures which have been taken by the Russian government and as a result groups them by their type. Thereupon three types of arrangements aimed at overcoming the adverse consequences of the sanctions have been defined.
