  • The relevance of the subject deals with the study and the analysis of trends and conditions of industrial complex business entities activity as well as the one of Sakhalin region as a whole in order to ensure follow up valuation of organizational-economic, investment and innovative measures aimed at enhancement of comprehensive social and economic development.
    Specific features and environmental conditions of the Sakhalin regional economy significantly differ from other regions of the Russian Federation and thus, they require up-to-date approaches to the spatial location of industrial and infrastructure complex with the view of eliminating uneven allocation of regional economy resources and ensuring their efficient use.
    The author has worked out methodical recommendations on adoption and implementation of comprehensive organizational, economic and other measures to optimize the spatial location of industrial complex projects and to increase economic growth of the Sakhalin regional economy.
